Khashan: The popular movement will not allow the Sudanese Prime Minister to be named
Member of Parliament, Basem Khashan, affirmed that the popular movement would not allow the nomination of Mohamed Shiaa Al-Sudani as Prime Minister.
Khashan said, "The demands of the popular movement were clear, and they, especially with regard to the head of the next interim government, must be totally political independent, not resigned from a political party, and the task of the new president is to hold early elections."
He added that "putting the political blocs to nominate a candidate for prime minister is a clear challenge to the will of the Iraqi people who rose up for nearly three months, and this challenge will increase the anger of the street and the unity of the demonstrations, and these blocs must realize the seriousness of challenging the people again."
