    The information / Baghdad ..
The dissolved Baghdad Provincial Council member Saad Al-Muttalabi revealed, on Sunday, a meeting of the Federal Supreme Court to consider the parliament’s decision to cancel the provincial councils, indicating that the government faces a real budget crisis and the distribution of governorate resources due to the dissolution of the councils.
Al-Muttalabi said in a statement to "Information" that "after the submission of several members of the provincial councils appeals to the parliament’s approval regarding the cancellation of the councils, the Federal Supreme Court will meet tomorrow, January 20, to decide the validity of the decision."
He added that "the provincial councils hope that they will be fair by the Federal Supreme Court after the un-considered decision by Parliament."
Al-Muttalabi said, "The federal government faced serious financial problems and major administrative violations after the cancellation of the council, as it cannot approve the budgets of all governorates or register the final accounts and financial resources for the province because there is no authorized council." / 25D
