The leader of the National Coalition, [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/1430/%D8%A7%D9%8A%D8%A7%D8%AF %D8%B9%D9%84%D8%A7%D9%88%D9%8A]Iyad Allawi,[/url] stressed the necessity of internationalizing the issue of demonstrations, noting: "The demonstrators are subject to genocide, and the United Nations must protect the Iraqi people."
Allawi said in a press statement that the government bears the responsibility to protect demonstrators after the killings and kidnappings , which are also subject , "noting:" The situation is heading to the crisis because of the failure of the government. "
He added:" The United Nations to intervene to stop the genocide of the Iraqi people and to bring the perpetrators of killing demonstrators to International Courts.
