    The director of the Planning Department at the Basra Governorate Court, Walaa Abdul Karim, announced on Thursday that 450 projects were referred as part of a plan last year out of a total of 470 new projects with a value of four trillion dinars, which will continue to be funded for this year and the coming years.
    Abdul-Karim said in a statement to Information Agency, "There are 111 ongoing projects from the past years that were not completed until the beginning of 2019 due to the previous financial crisis, which called on the Basra government to expedite its completion." With the contractors, the 2019 plan will be very large and it will continue to finance these projects in this year’s plan. ”
    He pointed out that "the province is working on completing and financing projects last year within this year, after which new projects can be included if the budget is approved this year," noting that "the ministries of planning and finance may have sufficient solutions to finance projects in case the budget approval is late." 25 p
