A new blow to Iran in Iraq .. Najaf and the Kurds ally with Al-Kazemi

The Iranian mullahs regime received a new blow to its influence in Iraq, after an agreement between [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and Prime Minister-designate Mustafa al-Kazemi, to remove Tehran's allies from security positions in the next government formation.
This also comes after Iran failed to win the Kurds to its side by using the "cut salaries" paper.
The Iranian mullahs regime was counting on the papers of [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Kurds to thwart political negotiations on forming a new Iraqi government led by Al-Kazemi, according to informed political sources.
Tehran stuck to the Najaf card to attract the Iraqis to its alliance and obtain their support for the political figures close to it, the last of whom was the resigned Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi, according to Al-Hurra.

Sources stated that, for this reason, the Hashd forces affiliated with the Najaf authority were separated from those loyal to the Iranian reference.
It was agreed that Al-Kazemi would announce that every security post in his ministerial formations is outside of negotiations, which greatly angered the forces close to Iran.
The Iranian regime is trying to obtain a security position in the new cabinet.
Former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki nominated his brother-in-law, Yasser Sakheil, to the Ministry of Interior, but Al-Kazemi rejected it and never accepted negotiation, which led to Al-Maliki's wrath and his leadership a broad campaign to thwart Al-Kazemi’s failure.
As for the Kurds, they also chose to stay away from it and the pro-Fatah coalition, due to the widespread popular protests rejecting the Mahdi government. Which greatly violated the Iranian position in Iraq.
Observers emphasized that, besides the protests, there are other factors that prompted the Kurds to change their position on Tehran, including receiving international and internal assurances from the religious authority, as well as the compatibility of the Iraqi street visions with the visions of Najaf, on the need for independence of the political process from Iran.
The Kurds' tendency to the Sistani axis has changed the distribution of power centers in the Iraqi political arena towards strengthening the axis in favor of moving away from Iran.
