The Parliamentary Economy Committee revealed, on Saturday, that more than 100 signatures have been collected to include the Federal Budget Law on the agenda of the House of Representatives at the next session.
A member of the committee, Mithaq Al-Hamidi, said in a statement to / Al-Maalouma /, that “the Parliament Presidency’s call for the inclusion of the Federal Budget Law in the next session came after collecting the signatures of more than 100 deputies who demanded that it be included in the next Monday’s session.”
Al-Hamidi added, "The difference in the budget numbers between exchange rates and oil prices has caused a delay in including the budget on the council’s session schedule until now, and therefore it will be in accordance with the parliamentary presidency’s suit within the agenda next Monday.
And she noted that "the Parliamentary Economic Committee will alert Parliament to the significant difference in exchange rates during the voting session on the budget, and it will be discussed in detail to be appropriate with the current oil prices."
He pointed out that " [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] at the present time sells oil to abroad at current prices, which exceeded $ 70 per barrel, while the government placed the price per barrel in the budget of $ 42 only."
