    Al-Malouma / Baghdad ..
Member of the Parliamentary Economic and Investment Committee, Layal Al-Bayati, called on Tuesday the Minister of Trade to persecute the corrupt in his ministry to reduce the theft of the food of the poor.
Al-Bayati said in a statement to / Al-Maaloumah /, that "granting money to citizens as an alternative to the ration card items is the only solution to get rid of corruption."
She added that "there are parties benefiting from the theft of the food of the poor," indicating that "the distribution of cash sums instead of waiting for the ration items is much better."
She pointed out that "the Ministry of Trade does not have any deliberate plan to eliminate the specter of corruption that raided the ration card items," stressing that "there is parliamentary and popular pessimism as a result of poor distribution in light of the stifling financial crisis as well as the high dollar price."
A member of the House of Representatives, Alia Nassif, revealed earlier, a parliamentary intention to compensate 10 million people for the ration card items. End / 25 h
