    , Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, today, Saturday, delivered a speech at the international scientific conference of the Counter-Terrorism Service, while praising the role of the Counter-Terrorism Service, which was at the level of ambition and responsibility and contributed significantly to the liberation battles against the "Kharijites of the era" gangs ISIS terrorist.
    "Terrorism has become a global challenge that concerns everyone, and Iraq has greatly contributed to facing this challenge, and the Iraqis have helped the whole world get rid of the specter of terrorism that was spreading rapidly and stood with Iraq by many friends," Al-Kazemi said, according to a statement. The victory over terrorism was in the end an Iraqi victory,
    and the Iraqis should feel proud that they fought terrorism as a proxy for themselves and the whole world.
    He added, “All the Iraqi security forces from the army, the police, the crowd, the peshmerga, the national security apparatus, the intelligence apparatus and others contributed to this achievement, but there was a prominent peculiarity of the anti-terrorist forces as their main competence is to fight terrorism, and the forces of this national apparatus played a very large and prominent role in defeating ISIS terrorist gangs are still doing a tremendous job in striking terrorist cells scattered in remote areas.
    And Al-Kazemi said, "We achieved major victories during the past months and ended the existence of the so-called Tigris State during the" sweeping torrential "operation carried out by the heroes of our armed forces in the Counter-Terrorism Service, pointing to the" killing of the second largest person in the terrorist organization ISIS among dozens of leaders. " The adults and hundreds of elements of this organization.
    He continued, "We are now facing other types of terrorism, including controlling borders and border crossings, combating corruption, controlling uncontrolled weapons, and preventing foreign intervention, and all these efforts undertaken by this government are an extension of anti-terrorism operations," noting that "completely defeating terrorism is being done." "Through a comprehensive vision for combating terrorism, we need to create an appropriate national environment to completely dry up the sources of terrorism at all levels."
    Al-Kazemi pointed out, "Working to rebuild security institutions so that they are able to fully carry out their tasks, and we also strengthen our relations and cooperation with our regional and international friends to support security in Iraq, and thanks to the efforts of the security forces and their readiness, the mission of the international coalition forces during the strategic dialogue has turned into training and advisory tasks." What indicates the great development in building our security forces and their great capabilities, and we are working to control the borders and border crossings through intensive, continuous and integrated security and administrative procedures.
    The Prime Minister reiterated, "There must be an exchange of experiences and cooperation between the Counter-Terrorism Service and the rest of the security services, and we must also benefit from international support and regional cooperation in order to create a regional and international environment that helps prevent the revitalization of terrorism again," noting that "work to pursue financing networks." And support for terrorist organizations through international and regional cooperation to dry up terrorist financing sources. All this comes within the broad diplomatic efforts of this government to create interconnected networks of security and economic interests among the countries of the region.
    He added, "With all these efforts, Iraq returns to its historical role in the region and the world in order to be a bridge for communication, integration and cooperation among all."
