    Shafaq News / The Former U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney, who took office during the era of former President George W. Bush, launched an fierce  attack on President Barack Obama, describing him as the worst who ruled America, and hold Iraqi Prime Minister , Nuri al-Maliki responsibility for the failure in Iraq

    Cheney expressed in an interview with CNN , seen by "Shafaq News" “ his rejection of plans for dismissing Obama, even though he described him as "the worst president ever known in his life," describing the former president, Jimmy Carter, seen by Republicans as weakest American Presidents as better than Obama

    Resurgent Sunni extremists have swept through parts of northern and central Iraq in recent weeks, exposing serious shortcomings in Iraqi security and governance.


    The former U.S. vice president added that the Iraqi forces, "collapsed," and said that al-Maliki bear part of the responsibility, along with "Obama's failure" to ensure the survival of a U.S. force on the ground, what had made a chaos in Iraq today.


    Regarding the presence of a large number of soldiers and officers of the former Iraqi army under ISIL forces and whether this has resulted in dissolving the Baath Party and the army, Cheney said, "Maybe some of them are (ex-soldiers), but the core of ISIL are from al-Qaeda, we killed their former leader, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi , defeated them and expelled them from Iraq then they appeared in Syria, and returned to collect their forces under the name the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant “ ISIL “ organization and entered Iraq from new allies and gathered around them. "


    He added, "It is not confined to Iraq only, Caliphate, which lodged includes parts of Syria as well, we have thousands of people who want to participate in jihad streaming from Europe to the region and some from America itself."


    Cheney pointed out that al-Maliki and Obama "bear the responsibility for this failure," describing that this what the history books will show”.

    history already has recorded the failure of him and bush, so it's only fitting that it's obama's turn. problem is, we have had one failure right after another for as long as i can remember. there's so much wrong in this country it would take a miracle to fix it.
