Biden phones Jobouri to congratulate nominating him as parliament Speaker

Baghdad (AIN) –The US Vice President, Joe Biden confirmed his full readiness to cooperate and coordinate in order to speed up the election of the President of Iraq and the formation of a new government within the constitutional frameworks.
A statement by the Office of House Speaker, Salim al-Jobouri cited that, "al-Jobouri received a telephone call from Biden during which they discussed the updates of the political scene in Iraq."
"Biden expressed his happiness to elect the Speaker and his two deputies and expressed confirmed his full readiness to cooperate in order to speed up the election of the President of Iraq and to form a new government," the statement concluded. /End/
