    Iraq topped the list of countries importing non-oil materials and goods from Iran.

    The head of the Iranian Customs Authority, Mahdi Mir Ashrafi, said, in a statement carried by Iranian media and followed by "People," (May 26, 2021), that "exports of non-oil commodities achieved a quantitative growth of 17 percent and price 48 percent in the first two months of the current fiscal year. March 20 to May 20, 2021, on an annual basis. "  
    "16.9 million tons worth of $ 6.3 billion of Iranian goods were exported to various countries of the world in the past two months, mostly gasoline, polyethylene, methanol, iron and steel alloys, and steel industries," he added.  
    He explained that "Iraq is the second largest importer."
