, Director General of the General Company for Iraqi Fairs and Commercial Services Sarmad Taha Saeed met today, Sunday, with a Syrian delegation to discuss preparations for the "Made in Syria" exhibition to be held on the Baghdad International Fairground.
Saeed expressed, during his meeting with a delegation that includes Ali Reda Turkmani, head of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, Ragheed al-Halabi, head of the Syrian Garment and Textile Exporters Association, Adnan al-Sabbagh, vice-chairman of the association’s board of directors, and some members of the Syrian delegation, his readiness to provide full support to Syrian companies to set up the planned “Made in Syria” exhibition. It will be held on the grounds of the Baghdad International Fair on the eighth of next July and will continue until the nineteenth of the same month for the year 2021.
He added that the exhibition will witness the display of Syrian-made products of food, textile, medical, chemical and engineering materials.
The two sides also discussed Iraq's participation in the 62nd Damascus International Fair to be held next August, and the company's preparations to provide all facilities to the relevant authorities to participate in the exhibition within the Iraqi pavilion. Ended 29/ 77
