Iraqi Prime Minister [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] confirmed that some are trying to destabilize security and spread chaos in the country, indicating that there is a need to separate administrative work from political influence.
Al-Kazemi stressed that he will not tolerate the corrupt or those who manipulate the lives of citizens, pointing out that anti-corruption efforts face systematic obstruction.

The Prime Minister of Iraq also made it clear that the results of the investigation into the fire at Al Hussein Hospital in Dhi Qar Governorate, which left dozens dead and wounded, will be announced within a week.
He said, "The responsibility is multiplied by the recurrence of this type of calamity during the past months, which coincide with major crises, some of which are natural, such as the economic crisis, and some are an effective action, such as striking power transmission towers and disrupting the national grid."

He also referred to the fire incident, which indicates a "structural defect in the administrative structure of the Iraqi state, as diagnosing errors is neither employed nor followed up, and citizens become victims."
In addition, Al-Kazemi revealed that there is an "urgent need to launch a comprehensive administrative reform process," noting that the most important reform steps is to separate administrative work from political influence.
He added that the government presented to the House of Representatives a candidate to fill the post of Minister of Health, as an alternative to the resigned minister.

The fire had killed more than 114 people, and nearly 70 wounded. The Iraqi Ministry of Health indicated that among the dead, dozens died of suffocation, while the number of wounded reached 50.
It is noteworthy that the fire that broke out on Monday evening, in a center for the isolation of people with corona, in a hospital in the center of the city of Nasiriyah, located 300 km south of Baghdad, has caused widespread anger in the country, especially since it came a few months after another similar event that occurred in one of the capital’s hospitals in Last April, more than 80 people were killed.
However, it is noteworthy that the Dhi Qar fire was the third fire that the Civil Defense Forces extinguished within 24 hours. The Civil Defense team, according to the Iraqi Ministry of Health, was able to put out another fire that broke out, Monday, in a number of departments of the Ministry of Health headquarters located in the Medical City in the region Bab al-Moadham in central Baghdad, and the ministry said that the fire was brought under control without any injuries.
