More than 147 million dollars in foreign remittances in the auction of the Central Bank of Iraq
Shafaq News/ The Central Bank's dollar sales fell today, Tuesday, to more than 195 million dollars, including more than 147 million dollars in foreign transfers.
Shafak News Agency correspondent stated that today, during its auction for buying and selling US dollars, the Central Bank witnessed a decrease in its dollar sales by 1.52% to reach 195 million and 339 thousand, and 350 US dollars covered by the bank at a base exchange rate of 1460 dinars per dollar, compared to yesterday. Monday, which sales amounted to 198 million and 28 thousand and 107 US dollars.
Our correspondent indicated that most of the bank's sales went to enhance balances abroad in the form of remittances and credits, which amounted to 147 million and 29 thousand and 350 dollars, while the remaining amount of 48 million and 310 thousand dollars went in cash.
Our correspondent indicated that 26 banks have met requests to enhance balances abroad, 18 banks to meet cash requests, in addition to 218 mediation companies.
