    Information / Baghdad...
A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee in the former parliament, Muhammad Al-Shabki, suggested that the budget legislation within Parliament was likely to be delayed, pointing out that many ministries had not resolved their budgets, as well as the final accounts.
Al-Shabki said to "The Information", "The governments did not submit final accounts for all of the past years, but the budget does not depend on preparing these accounts, in addition to the fact that there are problems that will occur in the 2022 budget."
He added, "Parliament has not yet been formed, as well as its parliamentary committees, and this will affect the preparation of the budget, as it will be much delayed and its approval may be, as happened last year."
And he indicated that "many ministries have not completed their budgets by 100 percent, and therefore the budgets are often rotated and carried over to the new year after they are processed and the final accounts prepared if they are completed." finished 25
