Kurdistan Investment Commission pledges to complete lagging projects
Shafaq News/ The Investment Authority of Kurdistan Region confirmed, on Tuesday, that it will harness all possibilities to expedite the completion of lagging projects and secure the rights of citizens.
In a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, the head of the commission, Muhammad Shukri, said, "We will harness all possibilities in order to address all unfinished projects, and project owners must secure the rights of citizens."
He added, "In the ninth formation of the regional government, we dealt with the problems of four projects, and the remaining ones are in the treatment phase."
And earlier today, Tuesday, dozens of citizens demonstrated in front of the Investment Authority building in the capital of the Kurdistan Region, Erbil, in protest against the failure to complete the housing units that they registered to own in a number of housing projects.
