The representative of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Mahma Khalil, described, on Saturday, the Shiite rapprochement as very important in the interest of implementing the constitution and the unity of the country, indicating that the tripartite alliance is continuing its efforts to form a government in cooperation with the framework forces.
Khalil said in a statement to "Al-Maalouma" that "the coordination framework and the Sadrist movement are considered representatives of the Shiite forces, and it is not possible to marginalize one party at the expense of another."
He added that "the new bloc and the rapprochement between Nuri al-Maliki and the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, is very important and will give the tripartite alliance relief in forming the next government in cooperation with the framework."
Khalil explained that "the situation will not bear more, and that the Kurdish forces welcome and support any unified Shiite move to end differences and proceed with forming the government and electing the president of the republic."
