Today, Tuesday, member of the House of Representatives, Representative Falah Al-Hilali, confirmed the possibility of enacting a law regulating rent allowances .
Al-Hilali told the Iraqi News Agency: "The House of Representatives can legislate a law to standardize rent allowances and be equitable to both parties," noting that "the weak application of laws is the obstacle to taking legal measures ."
Al-Hilali stressed "the need to legislate such laws that protect the tenant and the lessor, and to follow up their implementation by the executive authorities ."
The index of real estate prices and rent allowances in Baghdad and the governorates has increased significantly, which burdens the citizen, while specialists have provided solutions to solve a small part of this problem, including the state's orientation towards ready-made construction or low-cost housing projects in installments of about 300, 400 and 500 without an introduction and are close to The capital and linked by highways .
