, the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hakim Al-Zamili, confirmed, on Sunday, the increase in financial allocations to the governorates and the holy cities.
The media office of the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives said in a statement that Mawazine News received a copy of it, that "Al-Zamili conducted a field tour to the holy governorate of Karbala, during which he visited the governorate building and a number of health and service projects, to see development and investment plans, and to emphasize granting privacy to the governorates." And the holy cities for their density, and the large number of visitors they receive annually.
He added that "Al-Zamili held, upon his arrival in the province, an extensive meeting in the presence of "Hamid Al-Ghazi" Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, and the province's deputies, with "Nassif Al-Khattabi", the governor of Karbala, to discuss the services provided, and the needs of the ongoing projects, in addition to increasing financial allocations and granting privacy in the budget laws. and food security for the holy governorates and cities to develop their infrastructure and services.
And he continued, "The First Deputy completed his tour by visiting the Warth International Foundation for Oncology, and met with its director and medical and nursing staff, while he was briefed on the treatment plans and devices of international origin that they adopt, calling for the need to transfer experiments and projects to Baghdad and the rest of the provinces due to the low cost of their establishment compared to projects applicable in other provinces.
Al-Zamili pointed out that
Al-Zamili pointed to "the importance of working to establish a support fund for cancer patients during the next stage," calling "the Ministry of Planning to secure the necessary allocations within the regional development budget to complete the establishment of a hospital to treat drug addicts in the same governorate."
Al-Zamili continued his tour with a visit to Al-Sabtain University for Medical Sciences.
