The spokesman for the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Mahdi Abdul Karim Al-Faili, set today, Saturday, the condition to go and seek to find a compromise candidate for the presidency of the republic.
In an exclusive interview with Mawazine News, Al-Faili said, "Finding a candidate for a settlement must be the willingness of the opposite party to give up its current candidate, in order to reach an understanding about a new candidate who will be able to resolve the dispute."
He added, "The Kurdistan Democratic Party is still sticking to its current candidate," noting that "the election scenario will be by going with two candidates to Parliament, and it is he who determines the next president in the conduct of the political process." Ended 29 / M 99
