, on Monday, the US Embassy in Baghdad considered the missile attack on Erbil last night an attack on Iraq's sovereignty.
"The United States condemns last night's attack in Iraq, which resulted in damage to an oil refinery in the Kurdistan region of Iraq," the embassy said in a statement received by Mawazine News.
She added, "Attacks in Iraq, including on the energy sector, are an assault on Iraq's sovereignty and harm Iraqi citizens."
"The United States stands with the people of Iraq, and we will continue to work with our Iraqi partners to ensure the security, stability, and sovereignty of the Iraqi state," she added. Ended 29/N33
