    The Information/Baghdad …
The Finance Committee in the House of Representatives identified, on Wednesday, the reasons that led to the disruption of the discussion of the law on unifying the salaries of employees, while expressing the hope that it would be approved during the next stage.
Committee member Nazim Fahim al-Shibli said in an interview seen by "The Information", that "there are three reasons behind the obstruction of the discussion of the salary unification law, the first of which is the political situation and the withdrawal of the Sadrist bloc, and the accompanying repercussions that led to the disruption of the work of parliamentary committees."
Al-Shibli added, "While the second and third reasons were the committee's initiation during the last period to draft the food security law that was approved, and the parliament's announcement that it had entered the first legislative term recess."
He explained that "the salary unification law needs efforts from members of the Finance Committee in order to approve it," noting that "the resignation of the committee's chairman and a number of its members left a great impact on the committee, due to waiting for their replacements to come to present the laws."
Al-Shibli expressed his hope that "the law will be passed during the next stage, despite the size of the differences that exist within the committee." finished/25
