The reporter added, “Other groups were at the Jumhuriya Bridge,” noting that “the riot police set up a human barrier to prevent the protesters from storming the Green Zone, while the demonstrators were pelted with hot water,” stressing that “a large portion of the protesters crossed the Jumhuriya Bridge and stood in front of the bridge. The Legislation Gate in Karada Maryam, and they uploaded pictures of the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr.”
He pointed out, "The demonstrators then began to enter the Green Zone after removing a number of concrete blocks."
The reporter pointed out that "the protesters raised slogans rejecting the nomination of Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani to the position of Prime Minister, calling for the trial of the leader of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, because of the audio recordings attributed to him."
In addition, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, called on the demonstrators to immediately withdraw from the Green Zone.
Al-Kazemi’s office stated in a statement received by (Al-Mada), that “the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces called on his sons, the demonstrators, to abide by their peacefulness, to preserve public and private properties, and to the instructions of the security forces responsible for protecting them according to regulations and laws, and to immediately withdraw from the Green Zone.”
Al-Kazemi added, according to the statement, that "the security forces will be committed to protecting state institutions and international missions, and preventing any disruption to security and order."
Meanwhile, the demonstrators stormed the House of Representatives building in the middle of the Green Zone, and video clips followed by (Al-Mada), showed the presence of hundreds of protesters inside the main hall of Parliament.

It is a wonderful spontaneous, reformist, popular message. Thank you. The people are conspiring against you, and your safety is more important than everything. Then, the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, issued a tweet in which he spoke about the Muharram revolution and considered it a revolution of reform and rejection of injustice and corruption.
