Today, Wednesday, December 14, 2022, the President of the Republic, Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received the credentials of a number of new ambassadors to Iraq, namely, the Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation, Amelia Georgieva, the Ambassador of the Republic of Mali, Boubacar Diallo, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti, Abdelkader Hussein Omar. .
And the President of the Republic, while receiving the ambassadors separately, indicated that Iraq is looking forward to building the best relations of friendship and cooperation with the international community based on the exchange of common interests of peoples, the establishment of security and stability, the promotion of economic cooperation and joint coordination in facing the climate crisis and the preservation of the environment and water.
The President of the Republic referred to the security stability in Iraq, and the government's endeavor to consolidate it and open the door for investments to work in Iraq in various sectors, and to support and protect the private sector through laws, legislation and executive procedures.
The President of the Republic expressed his wishes to the ambassadors for success in their new work tasks, in the interest of consolidating relations between Iraq and their countries.
For their part, the ambassadors expressed their thanks and appreciation to the President of the Republic, affirming their countries' support for the security and stability of Iraq, its prosperity and the safety of its people, expressing their countries' aspiration towards strengthening relations with Iraq in various fields.
