Today, Sunday, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Ahmed Al-Asadi, revealed recommendations that will be submitted to the Council of Ministers that will provide hundreds of thousands of job opportunities.

Labor Minister Ahmed Al-Asadi said, "A committee was formed by a decision of the Council of Ministers, and it is hoped that during the next week it will present its recommendations to the Council of Ministers in order to issue decisions regarding the organization of foreign labor, which will help provide hundreds of thousands of job opportunities for the unemployed."

He explained, "The recommendations include granting a period of time to settle the conditions of foreign workers who work illegally in Iraq, as well as obliging employers to apply the paragraph of the Labor Law, which relates to employing an Iraqi for every foreign worker working in institutions, companies, malls, restaurants, and shops."
