Erbil and Washington agree... Solving the problems between the center and the region is stability for Iraq and the region

Today, Saturday, Kurdistan and the United States agreed that resolving the problems between the center and the region will lead to stability in Iraq and the region.
A statement by the Presidency of the Kurdistan Region stated, "The President of the Region, Nechirvan Barzani, met with the US Ambassador to Iraq, Elena Romansky, during his visit to Baghdad, today, Saturday."
And the statement continued, "They discussed the relations between Erbil and Baghdad and the latest developments in the talks between the two federal governments and the Kurdistan region to resolve the outstanding issues between them, as the two sides stressed the importance of resolving these issues for Iraq and Kurdistan, and they agreed in the opinion that resolving the issues leads to stability for Iraq and the region."
For her part, Romanowski expressed the United States' support for dialogue and efforts to solve problems between Erbil and Baghdad, thanking President Nechirvan Barzani's positive role and his endeavors in this regard.
The statement added, "The internal conditions of the region and the importance of the unity of the Kurdish parties, reorganization and reforms in the Ministry of Peshmerga, developing relations of Iraq and the Kurdistan region with the United States and expanding areas of joint cooperation, with other issues of common concern ... formed another focus of the meeting."
