Shafaq News/ Member of Parliament, Haitham Al-Zarkani revealed today, Sunday, Parliament's intention to transfer air transportation fees from the dollar to the Iraqi dinar, indicating on the other hand that the Internet service is not commensurate with the amounts paid by citizens, and the concerned authorities will be informed of that to deal with it.
Al-Zarkani told Shafaq News agency, "Transportation fees are calculated in dollars, and they should be converted into the Iraqi currency, and he will hold a meeting with the Transport Committee to present these applicable proposals in order to alleviate the burden of citizens."

This step comes at a time when the Iraqi dinar is constantly declining against the dollar.
Regarding the communication and Internet service, the deputy stressed that "the Internet service has not yet risen compared to the money that is taken from citizens, and despite the reduction in prices after the tax was raised, it was reduced at the expense of quality, speed and performance, and this file will be studied and sent to the concerned authorities for processing." and increase service.
Iraq is considered one of the most controversial countries in providing Internet service, in exchange for the deducted subscription price.
