[rtl]Baghdad-Iraq Today:
A member of the Parliamentary Foreign Relations Committee, Karim Aliwi, called on the government and parliament to abolish the laws of the former regime.
Aliwi said in a press interview, "There are laws and decisions at the time of the defunct regime that punishes the Iraqi people and cannot continue with them."
He added that "the legislative authority must issue a new legislation rule that abolishes the laws and legislation of the dissolved Revolutionary Command Council,"
and pointed out that "the current federal system of government differs from the previous central system, so the matter necessitates the enactment of new laws, adding that all Baath laws are rejected because they are She was punishing the Iraqi people.[/rtl]
