    Today, Saturday, Prime Minister Mohamed Shia Al-Sudani affirmed that the opening of the national factory is a message from the government to localize the pharmaceutical industry.
    "The national factory will secure all sterilizers and medical supplies for the Ministry of Health," Al-Sudani said, during a press conference followed by (Baghdad Today), noting that "the opening of the national factory is a gain for the Ministry of Health."
    He added that "medical and health security are the most important requirements of the citizen, and the state must be able to secure medical supplies."
    The Prime Minister confirmed that "the volume of the pharmaceutical market exceeded 3 billion dollars," noting that "the national production of medicines is only 10 percent."
    He continued, "We hope that the private sector will contribute to the national production of medicines."
