Al-Sudani said in a speech during the inauguration of the National Medical Factory, which was followed by Al-Sumaria News, that "the National Factory will secure all sterilizers and medical supplies for the Ministry of Health," noting that "the opening of the National Factory is a message from the government to localize the pharmaceutical industry."
He added, "The opening of the national factory is a gain for the Ministry of Health," pointing out that "medical and health security are the most important requirements of the citizen."
The Prime Minister stressed that "the state must be able to secure medical supplies," noting that "the size of the pharmaceutical market exceeded 3 billion dollars."
And Al-Sudani indicated that "the national production of medicines is only 10 percent," expressing his hope for "the contribution of the private sector to the national production of medicines."
