The Ministry of Industry and Minerals revealed that Iraq possesses the elements of influence and competition with discerning international industries, while confirming the provision of the appropriate environment to advance the reality of industrial production.

He pointed to "the need to encourage industrial projects in Iraq for their effective contribution to achieving a great benefit by covering the requirements of the local market with quality products and maintaining the capital cycle within a local framework, as well as contributing to solving most economic problems, foremost of which is providing job opportunities for the armies of the unemployed."
