Today, Thursday, the President of the Republic, Abd al-Latif Rashid, called for the advancement of the capital by supporting investment projects.
And the Presidency of the Republic stated, in a statement, that “the President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received today, at the Baghdad Palace, the head of the Baghdad Investment Authority, Ali Al-Waeli.”
During the meeting, the President of the Republic stressed, “The importance of advancing the status of the capital, Baghdad, by supporting the necessary investment projects that are directly related to the requirements of citizens and commensurate with the population expansion in it, in addition to supporting the private sector by providing facilities and enacting the necessary laws in this regard.”
For his part, the head of the Baghdad Investment Commission, Ali Al-Waeli, appreciated the “directives of the President of the Republic,” reviewing the investment plans and projects underway in Baghdad, as well as future plans to develop the capital and serve its residents.
