    In his meeting with the interview program on Al-Jazeera channel, the Iraqi Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani, revealed a very important aspect of his psychological and moral formation, when he refused to take revenge on the person who wrote a security report on his father during the rule of the former Iraqi regime. This report was sufficient to execute his father.
    Despite the positions that Al-Sudani assumed or held in the period after 2003 AD, the latest of which was the position of Prime Minister and the powers that this position gives him, he categorically refuses to take revenge on the person who was the cause of his father’s death.
    This firm conviction of Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani in rejecting revenge, which is one of the habits of ignorance, and this emotional discipline when he sees his father’s killer continuously and does not think about it, did not come from a vacuum, but rather his belief in religious and human values ​​that prohibit and reject revenge, and from the standpoint of a statesman who is deeply aware that Revenge will only generate revenge, and it will open a wide door for bloodshed, at a time when Iraq needs unity, not division.
    The Sudanese, with this moral highness, wants to sever the relationship with all the practices of the former Iraqi regime, so that they will not be repeated in Iraq after 2003 AD, and to rule Iraq according to the principles of the state of law that rejects the formula of revenge, which has no place in a society and state that seek to rise again.
    With this revealing of this important aspect of Al-Sudani's personality, we realize how right the decision to choose Al-Sudani as Prime Minister of Iraq was. Iraq is in dire need of this type of statesmen in running a large country like Iraq, which is religiously and ethnically diverse. In refusing revenge, it establishes a moral human rule that it applies to itself, which is understood from it that Iraqis refrain from revenge, and abide by the law in order for the state and the Iraqi society to enjoy peace and stability.
    Iraq, with this model of the prime minister, has a historic opportunity to achieve its aspirations of social stability, economic prosperity and political progress, and with it, Iraq will also be able to restore its Arab, regional and international status.
    Iraq possesses a number of ingredients and factors that can make it one of the emerging, active and influential forces in its three environments, if they are invested and employed properly, and among those ingredients and factors are the enormous natural resources - oil and gas -, its distinguished strategic location, its balanced relations with various parties, and its experience successful in confronting and defeating terrorism.
