    [rtl]Baghdad-Iraq today:[/rtl]
[rtl]A member of the US Congress called for the resumption of oil exports from the Kurdistan region of Iraq, pointing to the need to implement the agreement concluded between Erbil and Baghdad on the re-export of oil from the Kurdistan region of Iraq, saying: “ The agreement cannot be kept on paper.”

On the issue of re-exporting oil from the Kurdistan region of Iraq, and the concern of the oil companies operating in the region, US Congressman Eliza Slotkin said, “This issue has been reported to Congress and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs several times, but the Iraqi constitution stipulates that revenues must be shared.” The US official added

, I will try to increase the focus of the US government on Iraq, and put more pressure, to work starting with the ambassador and consul general of the State Department on these issues and use their influence on Baghdad.” Slotkin pointed to the existence

of a dialogue between the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq, Masrour Barzani, and the Iraqi Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, noting: "They must present this agreement, which cannot be kept as a dead letter."[/rtl]
