Shafaq News/ The Central Bank of Iraq's sales of the hard currency auction of the US dollar during the month of June amounted to more than 4 billion dollars.
Shafaq News agency reporter stated that the Central Bank sold during the month of June, during the days when it opened its auction for buying and selling US dollars, 4 billion, 154 million, 205 thousand and 944 dollars, with an average of 267 million, 947 thousand and 62 dollars, up by 11% from the previous month. The amount is 241 million 824 thousand and 211 dollars, also up by 11% over the same period last year 2022.
Our correspondent added that sales of foreign remittances amounted during the past month to 3,480,215,944 dollars, an increase of 80.5% compared to cash sales, which amounted to 673,990,000 dollars.
Our correspondent indicated that these sales were distributed between remittances abroad to finance foreign trade, and between cash sales to banks, while the selling price of documentary credits and international settlements for electronic cards reached 1305 dinars per dollar, while the selling price of remittances abroad and the cash sale price reached 1310 dinars per dollar. dollar.
