Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahhaf announced, on Wednesday, that the end of this month has been set as the date for holding an emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on insulting the Holy Quran.
"The emergency meeting at the ministerial level of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation will be held on Monday, corresponding to the 31st of July," Al-Sahhaf said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency, which was seen by the /information.
He added, "The meeting came after two consecutive requests from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, against the background of the disgraceful act against the Holy Qur'an in the Kingdoms of Sweden and Denmark." Ended/25 h
