    [rtl]Baghdad-Iraq today:[/rtl]
[rtl]Adviser to the Iraqi Prime Minister for Transportation Affairs, Nasser Al-Asadi, confirmed that the free zone in Dohuk will be very important for the development road project and Iraq in general, while indicating that there are one million job opportunities that will be available soon . [/rtl]
[rtl]Nasser Al-Asadi, adviser to the Iraqi prime minister for transportation affairs, said in a press statement, “There is a very important area in the Kurdistan region that we count on and will be a key element in this project, which is the trade Exchange area in Dohuk, which is a very vital area in the project, and Iraq as a border area. .[/rtl]
[rtl]He pointed out that "a technical meeting was held that includes ministries and sectoral agencies concerned with the path of development, including the governors whose governorates the train will pass through," noting that they have invited all concerned governorates, including Dohuk governorate," as It is one of the governorates that the train will pass through to Turkey. ".[/rtl]
[rtl]He added that they also decided to invite the Minister of Transport and Communications in the Kurdistan region, Anu Johar, and there were "very valuable discussions," and there were "claims from some provinces for some technical plans, through which there will be a clear study of the train's passage."[/rtl]
[rtl]Nasser Al-Asadi pointed out that the meeting was "purely technical and did not witness any negotiations," but rather "technical requests from the governorates and some ministries so that they have sufficient information to study the train's track with the existing projects."[/rtl]
[rtl]Regarding the sector's path, he explained that, according to the preliminary study and feasibility study, "it passes through the Nineveh Plain and Dohuk Governorate to the point of contact with Turkey, and it is the approved path that we are working on its details now .”[/rtl]
[rtl]He added, "We are in the process of preparing detailed plans and final breeding examinations in order to decide on the path and the areas that it passes through."[/rtl]
[rtl]Regarding the cost of the project, he explained that it amounts to "17 billion dollars," and it started by providing its requirements in southern Iraq, and it will end at the end of 2028.[/rtl]
[rtl]He stressed that there is progress in the completion of development projects, pointing out that the completion rate of the port of Faw "reached 68%."[/rtl]
[rtl]He noted that the project is "a complete economic group, and job opportunities in it will grow, from 100,000 to one million," and "it will grow according to need."[/rtl]
[rtl]Regarding the role that the Kurdistan Region will play, the Prime Minister's Adviser for Transportation Affairs said, "The Kurdistan Region is part of the economic system for this project, as it is part of Iraq."[/rtl]
[rtl]He added, "The free zone in Dohuk will be very important to the development road project and Iraq in general, and there will be great job opportunities, whether from the people of the Kurdistan region or Nineveh with their various social sects."[/rtl]
[rtl]In this context, he went on to say that "there are great opportunities in Dohuk, which is an important exchange point, like Basra."[/rtl]
[rtl]He pointed out that the impact of the project on Iraq "will be great," and this project "will build a new economy for Iraq, and we will provide more income than what is provided by oil and gas."[/rtl]
[rtl]It is noteworthy that Baghdad hosted, on May 27, the Strategic Development Road Conference. [/rtl]

[rtl]At the opening of the conference, Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani affirmed that the strategic development path is an economic artery and an opportunity for a convergence of interests, noting that it will be "a pillar of the non-oil economy and serve Iraq's neighbors and the region."[/rtl]
