    Abdul Basit Turki revealed Prime BSA for great corruption was going on in the corridors of the Iraqi Central Bank during the administration of his accession.


    This came in an official letter obtained by the (East) directed to the Turkish Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki last March requesting to be relieved from the post of governor of the central bank, after the stability of the monetary situation and administrative contexts in the CBI. He stressed in his letter to the Turkish Prime Minister that "the personal interests of some manipulators of private banks and their associates are ruling and intervening in the decisions of the bank." He pointed out that "one of the politicians presented proposals for the former governor to modify your own auction currency."
