Today, Monday, First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, stressed the need to implement “proactive” oversight operations to combat financial and administrative corruption.
And the media office of the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament stated, in a statement, that "Al-Mandalawi received in his office the head of the Bureau of Financial Supervision, Ammar Subhi al-Mashhadani, to discuss a number of files and laws related to the work of the Bureau, and ways to activate its oversight role during the current and coming period."
Al-Mandalawi stressed the need to implement proactive oversight operations to combat financial and administrative corruption in order to preserve public money, and to follow up on the measures taken by the Bureau Committee No. The people who manage this important file."
He expressed, "Parliament's support for the work of all oversight institutions, by issuing legislation and decisions that enhance the tasks and duties entrusted to it."
The First Deputy called for “the importance of completing the final financial accounts for the previous years, and coordinating with the House of Representatives and its concerned committees to achieve integration in the oversight aspect, in a way that contributes to striking corruption and its supporters and preserving the people’s goods, and to consider the possibility of allocating a number of job grades to the Bureau in coordination with the Federal Service Council according to A competent selection committee formed by the Board of Supreme Audit.
