    Today, Monday (October 30, 2023), the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee monitored three positives of signing security agreements to develop competencies in Iraqi security institutions, while indicating the existence of crimes that were not known in Iraqi society.
    Committee member MP Salah Al-Tamimi said in an interview with "Baghdad Today", "The reality of the situation indicates that the paths of crime in its various forms are changing, especially with the communications revolution and openness, which created crimes that were not known in Iraqi society, in addition to the change in the methods of gangs and criminal networks."
    He added, "Concluding agreements to place officers in courses to develop competencies in technical and technical files is a necessity imposed by developments in the security scene, especially since modern technologies with all their details have become an important part of detecting crimes and identifying their perpetrators with the push of a button."
    Al-Tamimi pointed out that “it is necessary for any development agreement to be in accordance with the urgent need and to include technical support factors,” pointing out that the file of security agreements in training and development files exists in all countries of the world and comes within strategies to improve security performance, benefit from the experiences of others, and transfer technical tools that can It reduces human effort in uncovering the secrets of crimes.
