    The Governor of Babylon, Wissam Aslan, announced today, Tuesday, that new neighborhoods will be included in services within next year’s plan, 2024.
    Aslan said, "The first package of service effort targeted slum neighborhoods, within the basic designs of our administrative units, at a cost amounting to 38 billion Iraqi dinars."
    He explained, "The service effort provides quick solutions to neighborhoods that suffer from rehabilitation problems," stressing that "the service effort's work is proceeding at a rapid pace."
    He pointed out, "The 2023 plan included approximately 27 residential neighborhoods with services throughout Babil Governorate, which was initiated with the participation of the service effort team headed by Deputy Minister of Municipalities Jaber Abd Khaji," stressing that "the 2024 plan will include new neighborhoods with services."
    Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani had previously confirmed that the government had raised the slogan of not maintaining any delayed projects, while indicating that the year 2024 would be the year of project completion.
    The Prime Minister’s Media Office stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani chaired today a meeting of the service and engineering effort team, during which the report on the progress of implementation and the work completed at the sites and projects undertaken by the team was discussed.” Baghdad and the governorates during the years 2022 and 2023.”
    During the meeting, the Prime Minister listened to a comprehensive presentation of the reality of work on the projects and the rates of progress, and was informed of the obstacles that hinder the work, in addition to following up on the necessary procedures to continue the smooth flow of implementation, and the bills of quantities related to the projects until the end of the current year.
    The Prime Minister stressed that "the team, with its exceptional work method, was able to reduce project costs and compress the time required to complete them," directing "to overcome obstacles in all aspects of the work and maintain momentum in all working team formations."
