America threatens the nerves of Iraqis.. Government reforms are troubling Washington and food stocks are in “danger”

The American ambassador to Iraq, Elena Romanowski, opened a new chapter in the series of threats that she exercised throughout the previous period against the Iraqi government. She knows very well where to direct her guns, and she realizes what matters to the Iraqi people.
After the dollar, electricity, and attacks on the security forces, today it threatens the nerves of the Iraqi people, warns of a disaster in the food file, and directs its companies to work in Iraq under the (imposition) formula.
The US Ambassador to Iraq, Elena Romanski, had previously indicated that Iraq would import 3.8 metric tons of wheat over the next year to meet all Iraqis’ bread requirements, while she confirmed that American companies would help meet the growing demand for wheat in Iraq.
“Maneuver and objectives”
The American ambassador’s talk about wheat stocks certainly does not come out of nowhere, but rather it may be “the calm before the storm,” especially since this issue may be more important to the Iraqis than oil, energy, and the dollar.
Political analyst, Ibrahim Al-Sarraj, saw two goals behind the US ambassador to Iraq’s talk about wheat storage, and in what he described as a “manoeuvre,” he stressed that Iraq’s storage exceeds popular needs.
Al-Sarraj said, in an interview with the Maalouma Agency, that “the Washington ambassador’s talk about the Iraqi wheat food storage issue has two goals behind it. The first is about controlling the most important nerve of the Iraqi people’s life.”
He added, “The second goal is to compliment the Iraqi government, especially after the harsh reaction to the American targeting of residential areas and its security headquarters,” pointing out that “the American ambassador’s position is more like a maneuver, especially since her speech surprised everyone considering that Iraq has achieved self-sufficiency in wheat.” .
The political analyst explains, “The ambassador may also try to gain the people’s support, especially after the recent reactions to Washington’s positions on Iraqi soil.”
“Pressure messages”
from Washington, since the current government took over, until now, has been exerting various pressures, trying to create a crisis, and then proposing solutions that benefit it and its companies. Will the government fall into the same pitfall?
In turn, a member of the House of Representatives, Muhammad Saadoun, explained the extent of America’s ability to impose agreements in the field of trade on Iraq, and he referred to the current government’s policy and its role in the field of concluding agreements with major countries.
Saadoun said in an interview with the “Al-Ma’louma” Agency, “The policy followed by the Iraqi government, except with regard to providing services, or improving the standard of living, and the recent reforms that were carried out in the economic field, and with regard to the dollar as well, gave Iraq strength and strength and overcame many problems.”
He points out, “America is not able to impose cooperation on Iraq in addition to wheat. Rather, we are the ones who impose on them and choose what we need,” pointing out that “the government’s policy is going in this direction, and it can conclude the agreements it needs with any government, whether it is American or Other".
The member of the House of Representatives continues, “Iraq today has become able to impose relations with others, and even the type of these relations, and therefore America is unable to enter into contracts and agreements related to the wheat file, without the desire and approval of the Iraqi government.”
US Ambassador Romanski's tweet about wheat may be an implicit threat to Iraq to cut off its bread. This threat comes after calls to end the American presence in Iraq, which prompts the government to take actual measures to prevent the threat from reaching its “food.” Ended/25 R.
