    On Sunday, the Minister of Education, Ibrahim Namis Al-Jubouri, set the year 2024 as the last time limit for companies implementing educational projects to deliver 300 school buildings.
    The ministry stated in a statement, seen by Al-Iqtisad News, that “Al-Jubouri met with the companies implementing the ministerial educational projects in the presence of the Undersecretary for Scientific Affairs, Shaker Nimah Abdel Aoun, and Technical Affairs, Hussein Sabri Al-Lami, to follow up on the rates and stages of their completion in all governorates of Iraq and to develop solutions to the most important technical and administrative obstacles that stand in the way.” Corporate work.
    The Minister of Education directed, according to the statement, “to increase the pace of work with precision to complete the ministry’s project file number one early.”
    He stressed that "the year 2024 is the last time limit for delivering (300) school buildings without postponement to reduce the actual need of 3,500 school buildings, which will contribute significantly to eliminating caravan and mud schools."
    He pointed out that "the General Secretariat intends, under the auspices and directives of the Prime Minister, to hand over to us (1,000) schools within the Chinese loan project to provide an appropriate environment suitable for Iraqi students during the current year."
