[rtl]Today, Wednesday, the Minister of Migration and Displacement, Ivan Faiq Jabro, discussed with the head of the mission of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), Gheorghe Jegauri, the conditions of displaced persons and returnees.[/rtl]
[rtl]The Ministry stated, in a statement received by “Al-Iqtisad News”, that “Jabro received the head of the mission of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), Georgi Jegauri, at the Ministry’s headquarters in the center of the capital, Baghdad, and during the meeting, cooperation and joint coordination between the Ministry and the organization were discussed regarding the conditions of displaced persons and returnees.” ".[/rtl]
[rtl]The meeting also witnessed, “discussing the Ministry’s plan to completely close displacement camps on the 30th of next July according to the recent directives of the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, in addition to discussing the recommendations approved by the Council of Ministers in yesterday’s session to support the Ministry’s plan.”[/rtl]
[rtl]During the meeting, Jabro stressed "the importance of the role of international and relief organizations in supporting the Ministry's plan to close camps and support returnees in areas of return through income-generating projects."[/rtl]
[rtl]For his part, the head of the International Organization for Migration mission praised "the efforts of the Ministry of Migration and Displacement to end this file and ensure the safe return of all displaced people to their areas of original residence."[/rtl]
