    The local government of Babylon revealed the start of work on dozens of projects, after they were approved by the Service and Engineering Effort Committee in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, while Kirkuk continues to implement its service projects, which include paving roads and creating infrastructure for some areas in the governorate.
    The Governor of Babylon, Engineer Wissam Aslan Al-Jubouri, stated that “last year 2023 is the most expendable year in the governorate, as all food security projects were referred and the bulk of the lagging projects were completed, in addition to more than 100 schools being completed and put into service, while the implementation of dozens of projects will begin.” Concerning the service and engineering effort, after it was approved by the competent committee in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.”
    For his part, the official in charge of the service and engineering effort in Babylon, Engineer Aqeel Trad, confirmed that “the projects will be distributed among four axes, namely the municipality, municipalities, water, and education,” noting that “their total cost will exceed 37 billion dinars,” stressing “their contribution to improving the level of services provided to citizens, especially In slums and deprived areas.
    He pointed out that the service and engineering plan included the rehabilitation of liquefaction water networks for many areas in the city of Hilla, stressing that work is continuing on the rest of the projects as part of the service and engineering effort.
    In Kirkuk, service projects continue to be implemented, including paving roads and creating infrastructure for some areas in the governorate.
    District Mayor Hassan Nassif confirmed that the district is witnessing the implementation of service projects that include paving roads, rehabilitating areas, and following up on projects to establish a Dibs District Hospital with a capacity of 100 beds, in addition to the Dibs gas power station, in addition to establishing infrastructure in some areas, and establishing schools between 6 and 12 years old.
