The National Resolution Alliance announced its position rejecting the Baghdad Provincial Council’s allocation of residential plots of land to the new members of the council.
The coalition statement said that the decision constitutes a serious repudiation by the Baghdad Provincial Council from its required role in providing justice to the areas of the capital in terms of services and a retreat from the slogan “Baghdad Services Council,” which was supposed to be the most important priority of the council’s president and members.
The coalition pledged to follow legal procedures to cancel the content of the aforementioned decision, since serving citizens is more important than serving individuals, and achieving the goal of correcting the course and preventing monopolization of the decision.[/size]
