Today, Wednesday (June 12, 2024), Minister of Immigration and Displacement, Evan Fayeq Jabro, discussed with the head of the Federal Financial Supervision Bureau, Ammar Sobhi Khalaf, topics related to combating corruption and preserving public money.
The ministry stated in a statement received by “Baghdad Today” that “Evan Jabro met with the head of the Federal Financial Supervision Bureau, Ammar Subhi Khalaf, at the Bureau’s headquarters in the capital, Baghdad, in the presence of Undersecretary Karim Al-Nouri and the Director General of the Branch Affairs Department, Ali Abbas Jahakir.”
She added, "The meeting discussed several topics related to the quarterly anti-corruption position form and the measures taken by the ministry to preserve public money."
According to the statement, the Minister of Immigration expressed her “thanks and appreciation for the efforts made by the Financial Supervision Bureau in its work by following up on state institutions, especially the work of the Ministry of Immigration and Displacement.”
For his part, the head of the Financial Supervision Bureau, according to the statement, praised “the efforts made by the minister in particular and the ministry’s cadres in general to combat corruption and preserve public money.”
