Iran's exports to Iraq in the first three months of the Iranian year amounted to about $3 billion, indicating a growth of 28 percent compared to the same period last year, Iranian state media reported on Sunday.
According to Mehr News Agency, the top 10 exports from Iran to Iraq during this period include: natural gas ($1,211 million), iron or steel bars ($176 million), ceramic tiles ($56 million), fresh apples ($50 million), iron and steel alloys ($47 million), watermelons ($46 million), household water coolers ($45 million), cultivated tomatoes ($36 million), household and cleaning supplies ($33 million), and gas turbines ($27 million).
Iran's imports from Iraq in the first three months of the Iranian year amounted to $108 million, a growth of 25% compared to the same period last year, according to statistics.
The semi-official Iranian agency said that the most prominent goods imported from Iraq during the mentioned period include: raw gold ($58 million), aluminum ingots ($10 million), tires ($3 million), and cars ($3 million).
