[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / The Director General of the Department of Justice Relations, representing the Ministry of Justice, participated in the first consular cooperation forum held by the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in the presence of representatives of diplomatic missions and a number of representatives of ministries with work related to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The representative of Justice said in a speech at the forum: "The development of diplomatic relations with the countries of the world undoubtedly reflects the success of Iraq's foreign policy, and that the Ministry of Justice is an important bridge for communication with Arab and foreign ambassadors, by facilitating consular visits for Arab and foreign detainees detained in the departments of the Iraqi Correctional Department."
He added, "The Department of Justice Relations has worked to identify points of contact between it and the Iraqi Correctional Department in order to quickly fulfill requests for visits to inmates by missions. The approval of the Minister of Justice, Khaled Shawani, was also obtained for visits to be monthly," stressing the ministry's readiness to cooperate with ambassadors and representatives of missions in this regard, considering that this issue concerns Iraq's international reputation. / End 11[/rtl]
