    Information/Baghdad...
Economic expert Safwan Qusay confirmed, on Tuesday, the possibility of solving the problem of the disparity in some employees’ salaries, through transfers and transforming some ministries into productive and income-generating ones.

Qusay told Al-Maalouma Agency, "There is no acceptance of the current salary scale, especially at the level of some federal ministries, and the government cannot reconsider these ministries unless spending is reduced on some other ministries or a new window for revenues is opened within the ministries of industry, trade, culture, and water resources."
He added that "the aforementioned ministries were previously able to motivate their employees through their activities, in addition to the possibility of reconsidering the issue of incentives and trying to accept the shortage in the salaries of the aforementioned ministries by distributing plots of land to their employees and opening new windows to employ the unemployed within the relevant ministries."
He pointed out that "there is a need to reconsider the allocations of other ministries and work on compressing them, especially since the country has witnessed stability at the security level, as allocations were previously granted to some ministries as a result of the security conditions and an attempt to attract certain cadres to those ministries."
He pointed out the possibility of "the Prime Minister's Office carrying out transfers between chapters within the same financial allocations approved by Parliament." End 25N
